Motto:
The
motto of Kiwanis until recent years, has been “We Build.” Today, Kiwanis has adopted a new slogan: “Serving the Children of the
World.” Simple yet profound, these words describe the major emphasis of our club:
To build conscientious, responsible future citizens by placing emphasis on our
most precious resource; our young children.
Objects of Kiwanis:
Focus on Human & Spiritual - Not
Material:
-To give primacy to the human and spiritual
rather than to the material
values of life.
Do unto Others...:
-To encourage the daily living of the Golden
Rule in all human
relationships
Aim High in social, business and
Professional standards:
-To promote the adoption and application of
higher social, business and
professional
standards.
Set a good example:
-To develop, by precept and example, a more
intelligent, aggressive, and
serviceable
citizenship.
Participate in fellowship &
unselfish service:
-To provide, through Kiwanis Clubs, a
practical means to form enduring
friendships,
to render altruistic service, and to build
better communities.
Reflect wholesome values:
-To cooperate in creating and maintaining
that sound public opinion and
high idealism
which make possible the increase of
righteousness, justice, patriotism, and
goodwill.
