The United States' largest road cycling event is set to commence April 6th, 2016, in Redlands, CA. The 32nd annual Redlands Bicycle Classic Classic is a multi-day event for the world's top professional and amateur male and female cyclists, featuring total prizes in excess of $50,000. Special weekend events, including a community breakfast, are planned for local spectators and participants. Each year the The Kiwanis Club of Redlands dishes up a delicious Pancake Breakfast which is served adjacent to the Finish Line at the Municipal Parking Lot, located at 6th & Citrus, in downtown Redlands.
The Kiwanis Club of Redlands, which meets at noon on Tuesdays, has continuously provided pancake breakfasts for Redlanders for many years. Originally, part of the Kiwanis International National Kids Day, the Pancake Breakfast tradition was later held in conjunction with the Boy Scout's Scout-O-Rama. Kiwanis offers its annual Pancake Breakfast as a community service, and has done so for more than half a century. Help with the event is provided by the Redlands High School Key Club and the Cope Middle School Builders Club, both of which are Kiwanis-sponsored youth programs. Kiwanis builds leaders through service opportunities. For information about the public races click
