| | First Total-K Day - February 26th, 2000 A bright and beautiful morning greeted 73 volunteers from three
Redlands Kiwanis Clubs and two Redlands Kiwanis Sponsored Youth Programs, as
they assembled at Texonia Park to take part in Total K Day. February
26th, 2000, was designated as a day for every member of the K Family to join
together to perform meaningful service in a community within their division.
In Redlands, the Morning, Noon, and Evening Kiwanis Clubs joined with the Cope
Builders club and The REV Key Clubs to provide needed freshening and clean
up at Texonia Park. Division36 Lt. Gov. Charley Wheeler {1999-2000}, who is a
member of the Redlands Evening Kiwanis Club was on hand help with the the
project. In addition to trimming the giant Oleanders, the workers
also painted the Restrooms and shade structures and provided general clean up of
the grounds of this attractive northside park.

Twelve dwarfs take a break from whacking the Oleander
bushes to have their picture taken. Doesn't this look like hard
work?
