History of Red Ribbon Week

National Red Ribbon Week is October 23-31.  It commemorates the death of U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena in 1985 and invites us to visibly demonstrate our support or drug-free schools, workplaces and communities.  Invest in community activities with your monetary contributions, the gift of your presence, and wear your red ribbon.
