 | Mar 17, 2008, Two Redlands Kiwanians: Cherry Bordelon,
principal, Redlands Adult School; and Emily Bueermann, Cope Middle School,
Volunteer; were included among forty individuals, businesses and
organizations nominated for the 17th annual San Bernardino County
Education Medal of Honor in recognition of their contributions to public

| Nov 9, 2007, The Kiwanis Club of Redlands was awarded the Association
of School Administration Partners in Educational Excellence Award at the

| Nov 8, 2007, a proposal to launch a new volunteer 'Park Ranger' program
was presented to the Redlands Parks Commission and it met with enthusiastic
support. The program which will be an extension of the Citizen
Volunteer Patrol, will help minimize vandalism, undesirable
activities, and help improve safety in the city's many beautiful
parks. The Kiwanis Club of Redlands was proud to donate the initial
$5,000 in seed money to provide radios, badges, uniforms, initial supplies
and promotional materials, needed to start the program. CLICK
