Mar 17, 2008, Two Redlands Kiwanians: Cherry Bordelon, principal, Redlands Adult School; and Emily Bueermann, Cope Middle School, Volunteer; were included among forty individuals, businesses and organizations nominated for the 17th annual San Bernardino County Education Medal of Honor in recognition of their contributions to public education in school districts throughout San Bernardino County.  CLICK HERE for a '.pdf' version of the news article that appeared in the Redlands Daily Facts. 
  
Jan 10, 2008, Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Redlands, Tim Murone, is named the 2007 Redlands Man of the Year at the Chamber of Commerce installation dinner, held Wednesday, Jan 9, 2008.  CLICK HERE for a '.pdf' version of the news article that appeared in the Redlands Daily Facts on Jan. 10th 2008.
   
Nov 9, 2007, The Kiwanis Club of Redlands was awarded the Association of School Administration Partners in Educational Excellence Award at the Association's summit in Santa Clara.  CLICK HERE for a '.pdf' version of the news article that appeared in the Redlands Daily Facts on Nov 29th 2007.
  
Nov 8, 2007, a proposal to launch a new volunteer 'Park Ranger' program was presented to the Redlands Parks Commission and it met with enthusiastic support.  The program which will be an extension of the Citizen Volunteer Patrol, will help minimize vandalism,  undesirable activities, and help improve safety in the city's many beautiful parks.  The Kiwanis Club of Redlands was proud to donate the initial $5,000 in seed money to provide radios, badges, uniforms, initial supplies and promotional materials, needed to start the program.  CLICK HERE for a '.pdf' version of the news article that appeared in the Redlands Daily Facts on Nov 27th 2007.
  
Member, Laska Jones, was honored for his service with the Tuskegee Airmen in a ceremony on Friday, July 13th 2007, that preceded an Inland Empire 66'ers game.  Click Here for a '.pdf' version of the news article that appeared in the Redlands Daily Facts.
