Redlands Easter Pet & Bike Parade
is set for 9:30am, Saturday,
April 8th, 2006
A Downtown Redlands Tradition

The Redlands Easter Parade Committee invites you to participate in the 22st Annual
Redlands Easter, Pet & Bike parade.

Line-Up: 8:00 a.m. on West State Street between Center and Eureka Streets.

Pre-Judging: 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Entry Fee: An entry fee of $10 will be charged individuals and non-profit organizations. Commercial entries are $25. If you register after the deadline (Tuesday, March 1st) a $5 late fee will be charged. Make a check or money order payable to Easter Parade, and return with your completed entry form to: Downtown Redlands Business Association (DRBA), 35 Cajon Street, Suite 6, or mail to: DRBA, P.O. Box 3005, Redlands, CA 92373. Children with pets or bikes who wish to participate at no charge may register with the City of Redlands Recreation groups. Sorry, there are NO refunds.

Theme: “A basketful of Easter joy”. (Children’s contest: Best costume, Best pet, and Best wheeled entry. Prize awarded for each category).

Deadline to Register: Tuesday, March 23, 2006.

Awards: Ribbons will be awarded in each category to best marching unit, float, equestrian, vehicles, and novelty entries. Ribbons will be available at the judges stand immediately after the parade, at Redlands Jewelers at 7 N. Fifth Street, or call (909) 798-7548.

Television: The Easter Parade will be televised on Redlands Channel 3 live. To purchase a video of the parade call (909) 335-4736.

Please Note:

	Unfriendly or skittish pets are better left at home - small animals should be in cages for their own protection.
	Be prepared to clean up after your pet/animal. Horses must be diapered or have a clean-up crew behind them. Horses without diapers or a clean-up crew will not be allowed to participate. $ 1,000,000 liability insurance naming City of Redlands as additionally insured is required for equestrian entries
	Participants under the age of 18 years must wear helmets if riding a bicycle or similar device.
	NO CONFETTI of any type allowed.
